PROFESSIONAL COMPONENT/BIKE SALES
We are first and foremost fitters, however, we do sell and custom build bikes. We will also customize your bike for the fit and performance you are looking for. We carry no inventory and purchase bikes as-needed based on fit. If you desire a brand we cannot get, if you provide the frameset, we will spec. and source parts and build to suite. We partner with brands that support fitters and athletes. We will NEVER recommend a bike for you unless your fit coordinates perfectly align with the bike in question. Many mass-market brands (Trek, Cervelo, Specialized, etc.) refuse to work with fit studios and will only sell to shops that invest large sums of money in inventory, which only serves to further promote incentive-based bias. We are intimately familiar with these bike brands as we size, build, and fit them on a regular basis. In fact, we routinely fit these bikes that were incorrectly fit where originally purchased.
Every bike purchase at The Energy Lab starts with a session on the Vertex Fit Cycle.
We then determine what bikes on the market fit you best (regardless of whether we carry those brands or not). It is up to you to choose. There is no sales pressure.
We will discuss and recommend component options for the perfect fit. If you do end up purchasing the bike from us, $100 of your Pre-Buy Fit cost is refunded.
In addition, your fit on the bike itself is INCLUDED in the price.
